Description

Steakhouse is a five-piece rock group from San Francisco, California. Their music sounds like a mix of post-punk, electronic and art rock, with little bits of country/western thrown in at all the wrong times. They are influenced by Scott Walker, Neu!, Roxy Music and The Clash.

The Wounded Men-El Cerrito, CA neighbors Mike Flinn and Mike Assenzio started The Wounded Men in September of 2008. After many rehearsals and a few false starts They were joined by Mark Dungey (Drums) formerly of Foxtail Somersault. Vocals are shared by Kat Bukanc and songwriter Mike Flinn. From the start their goal was to to record an album. The result is All The East Bay Misses You, fourteen songs that go from No Depression era alt country to lo-fi pop-noir, to bleak heart break anthems with dirty protagonists.
