This program fuses various musical styles on common religious texts joining the past and present.
Experience a musical journey from Bach's b minor mass to slave songs to contemporary settings of traditional hymns.
Including:
Quoniam tu solus sanctus from Bach's b minor mass
Lord, God of Abraham from Mendelssohn's Elijah
Didn't My Lord Deliver Daniel? (spiritual)
Gott, sei mir gnadig (from Paulus by F. Mendelssohn)
and the premiere of the newly composed title work, Stained Glass Windows by Waundell Saavedra
with other sacred arias, hymns and spirituals to round out a perfect hour of music.
