Spilt Milk with C.L.A.W.S.

As our debut headliner back in February 2011, C.L.A.W.S. set the tone for Spilt Milk with an incredible all-vinyl set. He’ll be taking over the decks for us again on May 16, and will be joined by our homeboy Nil, along with residents Shaky Premise and Taylor Fife. We know a few of you enjoyed yourselves immensely last time there were drink specials, so once again Milk Bar will be taking a dollar off all drinks all night, and will also be doing well drinks for just $5 from 9-10. There is no cover for this event.

C.L.A.W.S. has been a long-time personal favorite of ours over here at Spilt Milk, first grabbing our attention with his 2008 remix of HEALTH’s “Lost Time.” He released ‘Cave In’ on Discaire in April, and recently started a killer vinyl mixtape series (http://soundcloud.com/okmixtapes). He is a resident at O.K. Hole each month in the Mission, and performs in the duo War Vs. Sleep and the band Bronze. His set is bound to be a treat, and we’re excited to see what he’s got in store for us.

Neel Rao will be following up C.L.A.W.S. to close out Spilt Milk on May 16. His late-night antics will be your perfect hump day night cap. Take a listen to last his last mix over at Mother Records and make sure you get your disco nap in Wednesday so you can stay for the whole thing.

In June we'll be forgoing our regular Wednesday programming and replacing it with a weekend party. As hard as we've been getting down on hump day, I'm downright frightened to see what weirdness we bring on a Friday.
