Description
According to lead guitarist Rick Miller, the "countrypolitan" embodied by Southern Culture on the Skids is made up of high and lowbrow components that complement each other like pinot and pork. And while some may object to the collision of Nashville drawls and rockabilly tendencies, these are the folks who probably haven't yet experienced Mary Huff's beguiling vocals, Miller's wildly creative picking and Dave Hartman's unfettered yet polished drumming. The trio back rock & roll licks with a slower country rhythm, garnering an eclectic following including Stephen King and the fans of HBO's True Blood, which featured two songs on a recent season. Aloha Screwdriver will also be making a guest appearance, so be sure to give them your love as well.
