South Bay Left Bank Brasseries to Host Festival du ChocolatThe Bay Area Left Bank Brasseries in San Jose and Menlo Park will host a Festival du Chocolat from Monday, February 11 through Wednesday, February 13 by showcasing a selection of savory and sweet chocolate-infused dishes, decadent desserts, and handcrafted chocolate libations.
In San Jose, guests will be able to enjoy Laura Chanel Goat Cheese with Urfa Biber pepper, cocoa nibs and toasted croutons ($8.50); Roasted Butternut Squash Honey Ravioli with unsweetened cocoa pasta dough and vanilla saffron emulsion ($15.00); Trio Of Cayenne, Caramel, and Fleur De Sel Chocolate Truffles with creamy vanilla golden raisin rice pudding ($8.00); Espresso Dark Chocolate Pot De Crème with caramel and fleur de sel crème Chantilly and palmier cookies ($8.00); and Molten Chocolate Cake with coconut ice cream and banana brulée ($8.00).
The offerings in Menlo Park will include Chocolate Fondue with housemade marshmallows, rice crispy, seasonal fruit, macaroons and financier ($15.00); Chocolate Crepes layered with chocolate ganache, white chocolate tuile and raspberry sorbet ($9.00); Flourless Chocolate Cake with dark chocolate, cocoa nibs, citrus coulis and a caramelized orange wedge ($9.00); and Chocolate and Raspberry Sorbet ($8.00).
