Description
South Bay Guitar Society hosts an evening of fine wine, hors d'oeuvres, desserts, good conversation, an auction, and two theater features. First up is Lee Actor: A Composer's Journey, a presentation discussing Actor's "circuitous journey through the worlds of high technology and music" as well as his career as a composer and how his compositional style has evolved. Directly following is playwright Cecilia Gaerlan, who will discuss "Brilliance Within the Darkness," a multicultural, multimedia production combining theatre and the music of Joaquin Rodrigo. Gaerlan will "share her discovery of Joaquin Rodrigo and his music through her research and collaboration with the composer's only Child, Cecilia Rodrigo, as well as Joquin Nin-Culmell."More Info
