LEE FOSS:
Born and raised in Chicago, the birthplace of house, Lee now lives between London and Los Angeles. Lee made his name on both sides of the Atlantic playing at clubs like The Standard Rooftop (Lost Angeles), fabric (London), The Marcy Hotel (Brooklyn), Watergate (Berlin), Spybar (Chicago) and DC10 (Ibiza). Lee’s rapid rise to prominence has been as much down to his unified but all-encompassing approach to DJing as it has to his pioneering take nu school house and synth-heavy techno, backed up by a string of hit releases on labels like No 19, Culprit, Wolf+Lamb and his own Hot Creations imprint. His unique sound, born out a lifelong love of classic house, 90s hip hop, 80s electro and Detroit techno, combined with fanatical grassroots support from clubbers in both Europe and North America, made him the highest new entrant in Resident Advisor’s Top 100 DJs poll December 2010, coming in at number 38 since then Lee has moved his way right on up to number 18. 2012 is slated to be a great year for Lee and its anybody's guess as to how much higher he's going to climb this year.

Coming to us all the way from Leeds, Britain, Liam Jones AKA Cera Alba and his breakout hit "Runaway" off of the greatly anticipated Hot Waves Vol 2 release has been getting massive play by DJ's all over the world. With a residency at Coloursound, signing to Hot Creations and releasing on Hot Waves this is just the start for Liam. His next track to be released on Hot Creations "missing you" has us all waiting on pins and needles and with no release date set just yet, looks like we will have to keep our fingers crossed that maybe, just maybe we will get to hear him drop it live.

Hailing from the northern strong hold of Manchester, UK. From the Stone Roses to the Hacienda to the house parties of modern times, the city’s ever-changing music scene has always been a major influence, be it inspirational or reactionary! The Hacienda was the club that first sparked Tom’s imagination at the age of 16 as he began his journey through all things house, but the clubs subsequent demise and the inability for the city to fill the void created by the loss of its favorite son, made Tom look further a field for inspiration and direction. In 1997 Tom moved over the Pennines to Leeds to study Civil Engineering at the University of Leeds. As the Manchester party scene was living on past glories, Leeds was on the crest of a wave with seminal clubs like Back2Basics and Hard Times leading the way - it wasn’t long before Tom was hooked and started DJing and spending his entire student loan on his new vinyl addiction! But as house music got more saturated and more formulaic in the late 90’s, Tom explored the more experimental, dubby, stripped down beats synonymous with Basics and the Hacienda and, it was these years that played a major influence on his future musical development. This evolutionary process is still pivotal in Tom’s music today, always trying to push things forward, , whilst staying true to his roots.
