Soraya is internationally acclaimed as one of the top Egyptian Bellydance superstars with followers all over the world. She mixes in her fiery Brazilian training with her passionate deeply moving Egyptian expressions forming a very unique style that touches the hearts and souls of her audience. She performs at top 5-stars Cairo hotels multiple shows per night, every day of the week. She is said to dance with her emotions on her sleeve. Soraya is world famous for her amazing shimmies and fabulous drum solos, which she will teach in her workshops.

Soraya is always featured as a star headliner at the "Ahlan wa Sahlan" gala shows as well as a master teacher at the festival. "Ahlan wa Sahlan" is the largest and longest running dance festival in Cairo, Egypt attended by thousands of dance enthusiasts every year. Soraya is also featured on many of Raqia Hassan's technique DVDs. Soraya’s dance is a beautiful blend of samba and Bellydance. Her shows are highly energetic, emotional and sensuous.

Soraya has taught workshops and performed all over the world. She’s known to give all she has without holding anything back and is very patient with her students. Soraya will teach her very unique techniques of Egyptian Oriental dance, the fiery Soraya touches that infuse Samba and other Latin dances and her signature captivating shimmies and drum solos. Soraya's workshops are open to all levels of dancers who wish to improve their skills, learn new techniques and increase their knowledge about Egyptian dance.
