Description

Join us for an inspiring evening of song with singer/songwriters Steve Seskin, Craig Carothers and Don Henry. Each individually is extraordinary, you will get to enjoy all three in one night!

Steve Seskin is one of the most successful writers in Nashville today, with songs recorded by Tim McGraw, Neal McCoy, John Michael Montgomery, Kenny Chesney, Collin Raye, Peter Frampton, Waylon Jennings, Alabama, Mark Wills, and Peter Paul and Mary. His song “Don’t Laugh At Me” was a finalist for CMA “Song of the Year” in 1999, and has spurred an entire tolerance movement, launched by the Don’t Laugh at Me Project. Other Seskin hits include: “I Think About You,” “Life’s A Dance,” “No Doubt About It,” “If You’ve Got Love” and “Grown Men Don’t Cry.” A Steve Seskin concert will have you wiping away a tear one minute and laughing out loud the next.

Craig Carothers has driven more than 80,000 miles in the last three years alone to play in more than 50 cities in 20 states. Originally from Portland, Oregon, he has toured with or shared the stage with a wide variety of acts such as Karla Bonnoff, Jonatha Brooke, Bruce Cockburn, Paula Cole, Catie Curtis, Donovan, John Hiatt, Janis Ian, Richard Thompson, David Wilcox, and many others. The Birmingham News writes “..smart, memorable material put across with abundant personality…” Craig’s songs have been recorded by artists including Trisha Yearwood, Kathy Matea, Lorrie Morgan, Sons Of The Desert, Kate Markowitz, Andrea Zonn, Berkley Hart, and Peter, Paul and Mary.

Don Henry is originally from Morgan Hill, and known as the guy other writers love to hear. He writes remarkable songs, funny, whimsical, wry, bittersweet, and poignant, and he sings them with equally extraordinary tenderness, humor, and sincerity. His songs have been recorded by Ray Charles, Conway Twitty, the Oak Ridge Boys, Gary Morris, and Kathy Mattea, among others. For co-writing Kathy’s critically acclaimed hit, “Where You Been,” Don and Jon Vezner earned a Grammy, as well as awards from the Academy of Country Music, the CMA, and the NSAI. In fact, “Where’ve You Been” was the first song ever to be so honored. His song "All Kinds Of Kinds" is on the new Miranda Lambert recording.
