Description

Gina Morgano, soprano, Brian Thorsett, tenor, and a choir of Bay Area youth join the San Francisco Bach Choir with conductor Corey Jamason at the piano in a musical valentine to the city we love: from old Mexican-American folksongs, to songs depicting the Gold Rush era, the devastation of the 1906 earthquake and fire, celebrating the city's resurgence during the 1915 Panama Pacific Exhibition and the exuberance of the 1920's, to Cole Porter tunes of the 1930's. This family-friendly concert, a unique opportunity to re-live San Francisco history through song, celebrates our city with music that is alternately moving, charming, and funny, and promises to delight all who cherish this city.

Youth under 18 free; student $10; seniors $24–28; general $25–30
