Description
You go to the club –the social club. Everybody meets at the social club. From the outside it looks like nothing… From the inside, it doesn’t look much better: a brass coffeemaker in the corner, some booze behind the bar, a few cheap chairs and tables, and a room in the back for serious business. And that’s about it. You hang around the club playing cards and shooting the shit.August 6 – August 23, 2008 little tree gallery, 3412 22nd Street (@ Guerrero), will be transformed into a social club. A closed club, it will be off limits to all except friends and associates of the artist, the curator, and the gallery owners. The casual viewer or passerby may feel free to stop by, as long as they understand where they stand: outside.
Opening reception & cash poker game: Saturday, August 9, 2008 6 – 9 pm
