Description
Kicking off its 22nd season, the Smuin Ballet is bringing its new program, Dance Series One, to Mountain View this week. The production features two world-premier dances-- one crafted by Smuin's choreographer-in-residence, Amy Seiwert, and another by Smuin dancer, Ben Needham-Wood. In addition to the two brand-new routines, the show will also stage the fast-paced, Tom and Jerry-inspired "French Twist," by Ma Cong, and "Bouquet," the Michael Smuin piece set to music by famed Russian composer, Dmitri Shostakovich.
