Moe's Alley welcomes Malian group SMOD to its stage for as they make their Santa Cruz debut. SMOD is currently one of the most popular world music groups due to their unique brand of Afro-pop and hip-hop. The band's name comes from its members - Sam, Mouzy, Ousco and Donsky - who grew up together in Bamako, Mali and bonded over their love of both African and American hip-hop.
