As the final offering of this season’s NOHspace Presents series, Theatre of Yugen is proud to present paige starling sorvillo/blindsight’s slow time and unnecessary conversation on Monday and Tuesday September 8th & 9th, 2008, 8pm at NOHspace in San Francisco.paige starling sorvillo/blindsight’s delicate and restrained collection of short new works features a new solo for sorvillo created in response to renowned Korean composer Hyo Shin Na’s 1990 piece Variations (for piano). Hyo Shin Na’s powerful and subtle work will be played by Oakland musician and composer Kanoko Nishi. Accompanying sorvillo’s new solo for Hyo Shin Na’s Variations will be a musique concrete inspired trio for sorvillo/blindsight dancers Claire Willey, Christine Bonansea and sorvillo. In addition, sorvillo will offer a “sneak-preview” of Dutch Classic – a comedic short film collaboratively created with filmmaker Eric Koziol and composer Matthias Bossi for the upcoming MilkBar Live Film Festival.
