Sleep Over Sauce (www.SleepSF.com) is a unique boutique Inn property inthe center of San Francisco.  We are located at 131-135 Gough Street in Hayes Valley, one of San Francisco’s most lively neighborhoods, and a perfect home base to explore and enjoy our fabulous City.  Shopping in Hayes Valley, shows and events in the Civic center, a short walk to the Castro or Haight Ashbury, and of course MUNI to everything else.  Sleep over Sauce is truly in the heart of the action.
Three brothers and Chef Ben Paula own and operate the Innand he name comes of course from the location over the top of our award winning restaurant Sauce.  Nate, Trip and Matt Hosley, along with Chef Ben Paula opened Sauce restaurant on the ground floor of 131 Gough Street in 2004, a few years later in 2009 were offered the opportunity to take over the entire building, so here we are extending our hospitality to a fantastic space upstairs.  We are not “breakfast people,” apparently this sets us apart from most innkeepers, but the fact is we don’t “do” breakfast.  Dinner, however, will knock your socks off and we keep the kitchen open late.   Sleep Over Sauce is a modern city Inn and the bar at Sauce is the heart of our operation, and definitely an integral part of the experience of staying with us.   Sleep Over Sauce has nine bedrooms which can be rented individually like a traditional hotel, rates range from $100 - $250 a nightdepending on the room and the season.  

Most of our rooms have private bathrooms and we have a variety of room
configurations, but every room has at least a queen sized bed and all are
stocked with high quality oversized bedding and plush bamboo/Egyptian cotton
blend towels for your comfort.

Do you have a large group or family event in San Francisco?  Sleep Over Sauce is a fantastic home base. Want to take over the whole Inn and create “Wedding Central?”  If so we are the spot for you, we have massage therapists and makeup and hair stylists who will come in house, or you can use your own.  Whatever the occasion, be it a special event or trip to the city with a large group for business or pleasure we are always happy to host.  With 10 beds in 9 rooms we can easily sleep 20 or so.  The common area “great room” can be transformed into a meeting space, living room, dining area, or whatever you want it to be during your stay.  We can cater meals and room service from Sauce or host small parties or even larger dinners downstairs in the private dining room.   Our restaurant is open from 5 pm – 2 am daily and we server dinner until at least midnight, later if there are hungry people about.
