Sista Monica Parker ‘the blues lioness” is an award winning singer/songwriter and performer, started her professional career in Santa Cruz in 1992. Since then, she has travelled and toured worldwide and has been recognized for her captivating stage presence and rich contralto vocal power. Born in Gary, Indiana, Monica developed her vocal chops between Chicago and Detroit singing in church choirs and listening to singers on the city streets.
