Description
Since 2001 the SIMM Series has been curated by Outsound Presents and local improvisers/composers/sound artists Rent Romus and Bill Noertker. They present a cross section of sound artists and musicians from the experimental improvisation and composition genres.DaMaDa is music primarily based on various Chinese minority tribes such as Miaozu, Zhuangzu, Tibetan, & Xinjiang and the folk songs of those regions. Chinese opera and other Asian melodies combined with American improvisation.
Noertker's Moxie will be performing some improvisations and some new compositions inspired by someone else's travels.
