Description
This year's SiliCon features actor Ken Lally, from TV's Heroes & Villains, writer Christy Marx, artist Sarah Clemens, and costume maven Shawna Trpcic. Continuing the theme of good vs. evil, the con will also feature a Friday night meet-and-great that winds up with "Dr. Horrible's Sing-along Blog." The weekend will feature screenings, games, and contests to determine who has the best evil laugh and "Khan scream." There's a Saturday night masquerade, and a number of featured artists. In the Science Alley, NASA's Mark Leon will be on hand to share news from the Robotics Alliance. The Science Alley will also feature an alien forensics lab, a gemologist's table, and displays by The Mars Society, The Stanford Solar Project, and more. There will also be science fiction and fantasy panels, workshops, filking, and dancing.
