Description
Daphne Gottlieb, Kelly Lydick, Amy Reed and MG Roberts, will read from works new and old exploring the boundaries between light and shadow, together for the first time in one evening at Mama Buzz Café, with special musical guests The Why Because.Daphne Gottlieb is the author of Pelt, Why Things Burn, and most recently Kissing Dead Girls. Daphne has traveled the country with Slam America and will be traveling to Oakland to read from works new and old.
Kelly Lydick is the author of Mastering the Dream, a daring foray into literary experiment and the quest for personal enlightenment.
Amy Reed has published work in Kitchen Sink, and Fiction Magazines. Amy’s debut novel, BEAUTIFUL, is forthcoming in hardcover from Simon Pulse (an imprint of Simon & Schuster) in the Fall of 2009.
MG Roberts’ work has appeared or is forthcoming in How2, Wordriot and horse less review. If she weren’t a poet she would be a snake handler, or maybe just a good speller.
