Shipyard Artists Spring Open Studios

Shipyard Artists, America’s largest artist colony with 250 artist work studios, present Live With Art, its 2015 Spring Open Studios (SOS) event. These artist studios are open just two weekends a year, are located on the former Naval Shipyard, an environment undergoing a home building transition with rarely seen panoramic views of the bay. This event offers the public a rare opportunity to meet artists in their studios, and to obtain art directly from the artists. For children and families, there will be hands-on art activities using recycled materials

The artist studios at the Hunters Point Shipyard are open to the public just twice a year. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to experience the Shipyard Artists’ community and art. This large exhibition offers enthusiasts a slice of contemporary art culture and showcases more than 135 exhibiting artists.
