Expanding on the traditional role of an art advisor, Heather Marx Art Advisory debuts with a group exhibition co-produced by The NWBLK on October 2, 2014. Exhibiting artworks by Michael Arcega, Mary Margaret Durell, Matt Gil, Amanda Hughen, Kimberly Rowe, Andrew Schoultz, Bill Swanson, Arngunnur Yr. In response to the rapidly shifting art landscape in San Francisco, the collaboration between HMxAA and The NWBLK provides new contexts for viewing and discovering contemporary artists. Bringing together different disciplines in the same arena (applied arts and fine art) HMxAA and The NWBLK present thoughtful conversations about the wider range of aesthetic disciplines and how focusing on beautiful objects can amplify daily life.
