SHATTERED CIRCUS is a dynamically rich circus experience with aerialists, acrobats, jugglers, hand-balancers and clowns. Audiences join this introspective odyssey with captivating circus feats and a good dose of humor. Chaos reigns supreme in this circus show as burgeoning personalities strive to maintain their individual voices while working towards a rebuilding of a whole.

OAKLAND (February 2015) - SHATTERED CIRCUS opens a 4-week run on March 7, 2015 in downtown Oakland’s Kinetic Arts Center. SHATTERED CIRCUS is a dynamically rich circus experience that pushes boundaries through intricately choreographed, gravity defying circus feats. Mirror imagery, aerialists, jugglers, acrobats, hand-balancers and clowns tell the tale of what happens when one mind shatters into a thousand pieces. Individual minds arise from the fragments of the broken whole. These new personalities are challenged by the conflicting desires of the many as they strive to come back together. It is a new-world order at the end.

SHATTERED CIRCUS is everything you’ve come to expect in a Circus Spire Youth Troupe production - NOW IN ITS 6TH SEASON. Circus Spire and Kinetic Arts Center are at the center of the exciting and dramatic contemporary circus movement in the East Bay. SHATTERED CIRCUS is this year’s new circus production from the creative circus team at Kinetic Arts Center, Oakland, CA.

Advance Tickets: $15 - $35 Save $5 a ticket when you buy in advance.
At the Door: $20 - $40

Please note that seating is general admission (except for VIP tickets) and those under 21 are encouraged to sit on the foam floor close to the ring curb for a unique view of the performance.

All shows are family-friendly. There is plenty of free parking in our lot or on the street. Performances will be held on Saturdays at 4 & 8pm and on Sundays at 1 & 5pm. Lobby opens one hour before performance start time. Kinetic Arts Center is located at 785 7Th St., close to the 14th Street exit from U.S. 980.
