Music of Britten, Byrd, Pärt, Biebl, Busto, Gesualdo, and Tavener joins that of the Bay Area's best--Aprahamian, Conte, Bielawa, Nixon, Peterson, and others. Add two sparkling world premieres--from San Jose Composer-In-Residence Brian Holmes and New Zealand Composer-Not-In-Residence Christopher Marshall, and you'll unwrap new favorites at this unusual program. 24 voices, a cappella. Early Music matched with contemporary works.And plan to join the Choral Artists for a brief reception after the program.
