Agricultural History Project Center and Museum continues the monthly Second Saturday On The Farm on December 14, 11am – 3pm at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds, Highway 152 outside Watsonville. This event is FREE! Donations appreciated. Bring your whole neighborhood to participate!

This December 14th Second Saturday features a wide variety of old-fashioned holiday crafts for kids and adults, caroling, hayrides, hot cider and popcorn.

Come hear carolers between 12pm – 2pm. Kids will be able to drive the tractor, pump water, and play with hoops at the Agricultural History Project. Our Gift Shop and Museum and all exhibit buildings will be open as well! Tractor driving and hayrides are available weather permitting.

Activities for kids will be ongoing 11am – 3pm. String cranberries, popcorn, create paper chains, puppets, bird ornaments and all kinds of other fun decorations.

Second Saturday on the Farm, held every month, offer a chance to be with a great community, and experience a little of the history of farming. Each month focuses on a different aspect of the farming experience and explores the history as well as activities for kids and adults related to each topic.

The Agricultural History Project Center and Museum revitalizes our connection with farms and ranches by creating fun events for families, stimulating discussions on current issues, and thoughtful displays of our history with the land.
