Description

MOOC - or Massive Open Online Courses - is the Word of the Year by the New York Times and promises to revolutionize higher education. Last year Thrun kicked off MOOC-mania and made history by offering his Stanford Artificial Intelligence class to an unprecedented 160,000 students and sparked a discussion about the future of education. In collaboration with San Jose State University, his company Udacity was the first to offer MOOCs for college credit, at one-tenth the current tuition cost. Can MOOCS be the solution to affordable and accessible college? What impact will they have on traditional colleges? Hear what's next for higher education.
