Description
The music of SEA DRAMAS is rooted in the darkness that surrounds your inner fears. It is flawed and has no boundaries. Sometimes it will sneak out into the light and disguise itself as something beautiful. Don't be fooled for it is only a disguise. Behind its thin veil you are safe until it persuades you into believing it is something of value. Then all will be lost with the prospect of everything to gain. There you will find love or it may find you but either way take solace in knowing that the music of Sea Dramas only chance of redemption is the hope of your love.... and then there is fish tacos. xoxoSEA DRAMAS rose from the ashes of the lost San Francisco based folk band Wayward Sway after its untimely demise. Until now it had been a voyage in audio recording by ex-Wayward Sway co-founder Scott Pettersen (songs, guitar, vocal, banjo) with the help from some good friends. Ex-Wayward Sway folks, Rafael Herrera and Morgan Cooney, who gave hands on some tunes playing and laying it down respectively with some sweet ass drums and mean sexy bass. A gal of the name Marlaina Rae stopped by lending her ethereal voice. The talented Sara Mohan brought some classy violin and strings. Ted Kamp, former drummer of the dark, hypnotic band 187 Calm, slapped, prodded and pounded the shit out of some drums in a rhythmic fashion.
Now a proper functioning band has assembled consisting of Ted Kamp behind the drum kit, Doug Keen playing upright/ electric bass.
