Description
The Lab presents a night of experimental noise music with Scummerai,Tralphaz, Aural Antithesis, Exercises in Feedback, and Beast Nest.
Scummerai’s set is a giant on-shore oil drilling rig with operating
cranes that spits out punch cards to make percussive sounds throughout
the live act.
Tralphaz is an electronic sound artist from San Francisco. He suffers
from a permanent fracture in his frontal skull, an injury he had
ustained since childhood when he rode a Mickey Mouse tricycle through
glass door. He has recorded for labels such as Troniks, RRRecords,
hroat, and Harsh Noise and has toured the U.S., Switzerland, and
Japan.
Aural Antithesis (Seattle)
Textural soundscapes of synths and various textures meet aggressively
twisted circuit bent noise brutality.
Exercises in Feedback (Sissy Spacek, Flaspar, G9)
The ghost we all love conjures up some wickedly deranged feedback play
for your listening enjoyment.
Beast Nest (Sharmi Basu)
San Francisco based Beast Nest is a noise artist from San Francisco.
She has performed at Norcal Noisefest and Godwaffle Noise Pancakes.
