Description
Come see the blue scorpion, amazing minerals, odd foods and explore a hidden world, revealed by black lights! Radiation from the sun is more than just the light we see. Besides visible white light (a combination of the colors of the rainbow), the sun emits other kinds of radiation like X-rays, ultraviolet, infrared, and radio waves. Our eyes cannot see ultraviolet light, but many natural and man-made materials react to ultraviolet light by giving off light of their own. Learn about the light spectrum, while having fun with experiments and other hands on activities under the black lights.Age: 4 years and up. Younger children will need assistance from parents to participate.
Fee: $10/adult; $5/child; $25/family (FREE if redeeming a Member Pass)
