San Jose's iconic "Dancing Pig" is in peril. With Google snapping up land in downtown, the retro marquee for the long-defunct Stephen's Meat Co. may soon need a new home. That's why Poor House Bistro is hosting the Save Our Dancing Pig Party, with live music and a silent auction this weekend to raise money to restore and eventually relocate the sign. A quarter of proceeds from the party will go to the Preservation Action Council, which aims to undo the "demolition by neglect" that's starting to take its toll on the little porker.
