Summer is here - spend this weekend enjoying all the Santa Cruz area has to offer! We'll meet on Friday evening to set up and relax at our beach-side camp. We’ll spend Saturday hiking through towering redwoods and along beautiful streams in the little-known Forest of Nisene Marks. We may even spot a banana slug or two. After another great night around the campfire sharing stories and s'mores, we'll enjoy a tasty breakfast and a leisurely paddle in Elkhorn Slough - one of 17 estuarine reserves in the country and famous for its saltwater, freshwater, and marshland wildlife. From our stable double kayaks we'll sneak up close to see otters, seals and an incredible variety of birdlife.
