Description
The Symphony's watershed 2012-2013 Season continues on January 26 & 27 with a special concert set led by Dr. Diane Wittry, the renowned conductor and author of the book, Beyond the Baton.In this concert, Dr. Wittry will take us on a musical tour that spans the globe- from Austria to Appalachia to the Caribbean- and three centuries- from Mozart's joyous Marriage of Figaro Overture written in 1786 to Miguel Del Aguila's Conga written in 1994. The concert also features South Korean dynamo, Yoonie Han, performing Beethoven's third piano concerto.
Whether it is music to dance to, music to sing, or music that simply moves the heart and soul, music changes us. This concert is full of beautiful melodies and driving rhythms that will move you and inspire you.
