The 31st Annual Clam Chowder Cook Off & Festival comes to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. This event is more thanjust a culinary competition as its participants dressed as scuba divers, mermaids, and even as a Clam Fairy.The competition itself is divided into two divisions: the Individual and Professional. Top prizes will include cash prizes, round-trip tickets courtesy of Continental Airlines, and more, with several categories for each division.
Admission is free; guests can purchase a tasting kit for $9 to taste the various chowder samples.
