Bead & Design Show will be held again at the Marriott from Friday, March 24th, through Sunday, March 26th. After a successful first show in August, it will feature even more products, exhibitors, and workshops.

Santa Clara Bead & Design Show continues the bead & design movement that has been at the vanguard of the handmade crafts revolution going back over two decades, with the passion that handwork is the highest form of art. It promotes a rich diversity of unusual and hard-to-find items, from hand-cut gemstones to African trade beads.

The show is open to the public, and presents a unique environment where everyone can explore the handmade arts, with over 200 artisan exhibits. Shop for artistic clothing and accessories made with natural materials, sensuous colors, and meticulous detail.

Designers and artisans bring unusual items such as hand-printed fabrics, art jewelry, hand sewn clothing, handcrafted beads, embellishments, raku beads, hand tooled leather, upcycled clothing, metalwork, and mixed media.

Tradespeople provide fantastic selections and great pricing on hard-to-find accessories, fine jewelry, vintage and antique beads, gemstones, beading supplies, findings, gold & silver, antiquities, artifacts, cabochons, silks, and tribal arts.

Over 75 artisan-taught workshops will be offered, from 8am to 9pm daily. These workshops give step-by-step instructions for all skill levels. Topics and projects include jewelry design, metal work, wirework, crystal setting, bead making, art clay silver, hand knotting, mixed media, chainmaille, and enameling.

Located at the Santa Clara Marriott, 2700 Mission College Blvd, Santa Clara, CA. Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th, from 10am to 6pm daily. Admission is $8 online or $10 at the door, good for all three days. http://www.beadanddesign.com
