Description
There was a time when people would discuss San Francisco rapper San Quinn in the same breath as the legendary Tupac. Born Quincy Brooks IV, the young Quinn spent his youth on the rough and tumble streets of the Fillmore district, hustling game and honing his skills as an emcee. He's released 13 solo studio albums over the course of his two-decade career and appeared on many more recordings as a feature and in collaboration with other Bay Area rappers, including his cousin, Messy Marv, as well as Keak Da Sneak --the man allegedly responsible for coining the term" hyphy."
