San Jose Jazz High School All Stars Big Band opens for the legendary Stan Kenton Alumni Band. Now in its 14th season, this ensemble showcases the talents of some of the South Bay's best young jazz musicians. Led by Dr. Aaron Lington, this audition-based big band gives high school students the opportunity to master their improvisation skills while learning about music theory, arranging, composition, performance and jazz history.Come on down and show your support for this talented youth instrumental ensemble as they open for a legendary jazz act!
