An engaging evening of images and conversations examining the past, present and future of San Francisco Bay. A look at how the disciplines of art and science inform and inspire one another while addressing the impact of climate change, wetlands restoration and pollution. Can art play a vital role in furthering our understanding and response?Will Travis is Executive Director of the Bay Conservation and Development Commission, and a leading advocate for a regional strategy to address climate change and sea level rise in the Bay Area. Robert Dawson teaches art at Stanford University, is author of numerous photography books and the Photographer in Residence at the San Jose Water Pollution Control Plant. Linda Gass is an artist in residence at Cubberley Studios and makes environmental art about water issues in California.
