SF Maritime Music Concert series on the historic ship Balclutha.
The new generation of Sea Music performers will open this year's concert series at the Hyde Street Pier. Salty Walt & The Rattlin' Rattlines perform a wide array of traditional chanteys and sailor songs, and travel the world performing at festivals. A fine follow up to playing at the National Sea Music Festival at Mystic, they are quite pleased to join the ranks of all those big names in Sea Music who've played this, the best ongoing series of it's kind on the West Coast.
The Barbary Ghosts are a powerful up and coming trio with a fresh sound, finely balanced instrumentation, and the captivating styling of a female lead. They go straight for the kill playing venues like the Filmore and the Great American Music Hall. Keep your eyes on them!
