S3X Gallery is a contemporary fine art gallery established in 2011, dedicated to promoting national and international artists, delivering original erotic fine art to established and emerging collectors and catering to special events. This will be the first gallery in San Francisco to only exhibit erotic art. Our goal is to provide a female-friendly environment for people to explore the beauty and the power of the erotic which we fail to recognize in our all too hurried lives.

The Grand Opening for the Gallery will take place on February 10th, 2012 from 8pm to 1am. S3X Gallery is located right down the street from the Warfield and Golden Gate Theater at 55 Taylor St in San Francisco, and a few blocks from the Powell St Bart station. Ironically, the Gallery occupies what was once an "Art Theater" that showed "The Devil in Miss Jones" and "Deep Throat" for more than 20 years.

The Grand Opening exhibit is titled "s3xploration" and will feature the artwork of David Hinnebusch, Mollie Kellogg, Thorsten Jankowski, David Steinberg and local artists Refa1 and Mark O'Bryan. Entertainment for the event includes a live burlesque performance, a magician, and erotic poetry reading. Complimentary appetizers and refreshments containing a variety of aphrodesiacs will be provided.


Tickets are $50, or $35 with a flyer (eflyers can be requested by emailing [email protected]) and can bought online through the Eventbrite website.
