Description
Rupa & the April Fishes "embody the pluralistic and paradoxical sounds of the San Francisco Bay Area," with the talents of Rupa Marya on vocals and guitar, Safa Shokrai on bass, Aaron Kierbel on drums, Mikhael Khalikulov on cello, and Mario Silva on trumpet. The Gypsy-swing jazz band, headed by practicing physician Rupa Marya, has toured extensively in the United States, Canada, and Europe and will bring their unique and rambunctious style to San Jose as the final show of Winter Fest.
