Description

At age 87, Roy Haynes still performs venues and has worked with world renowned jazz artists like Louis Armstrong, Sidney Bechet, Charlie Parker, Bud Powell and Sarah Vaughan. He has released a numerous amount of CDs, his most recent being "Roy-Alty" in 2011. He will be performing with his band, the Roy Haynes Fountain of Youth Band, which includes Martin Bejarano on piano and John Shifflett on bass.
