Description
The Foothill College Theatre Arts Department stages "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead" Nov. 1-18 in the Lohman Theatre at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills. Directed by Foothill College Theatre Arts Instructor Bruce McLeod, B.A., the play is Tom Stoppard's comic masterpiece.A fabulously inventive tale of "Hamlet," the story is told from the worm's-eye view of the bewildered Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, two minor characters in Shakespeare's play. Amid echoes of "Waiting For Godot," and a contemporary backdrop of homeless encampments and the 1%, this Shakespearean Laurel and Hardy finally get a chance to take the lead roles.
