The well-traveled troubador is making new friends and fans on the current tour, especially among the media. "The roots of rock and roll stretch back to the rootsy, bluesy Americana music that developed in the cities, fields, shacks and bayous of America. Respected national music publication/television show, The Alternate Root, recently named Jeffrey Halford a "Top 40 Blues Artist For 2015" with other greats in the genre such as John Mayall, Janiva Magness, and Elvin Bishop. "Emotion has always been a central part of Jeffrey's guitar playing, and it bleeds over into the cinematic textures of the songs (on Rainmaker). The Healers take the Farfisa out of deep freeze as they draw a line in the sand, put a quarter on the needle, and set the groove to "Play Some Vinyl."
