ROCK THE SQUARE: Celebrity Bell Ringing!

See some of San Francisco's finest celebrities -- media personalities, bell ringing champs, costumed characters, local bands and much more -- ring bells for The Salvation Army on Union Square.

This year the square will rock with festive sounds of the season from some of our favorites: The Eyewitness Blues Band, Bud E. Luv, Pure Ecstasy, Convent of the Sacred Heart and Stuart Hall High School Chorus under the direction of Billy Philadelphia, Evgenia Leshchishina, guest choirs from SFUSD, Noah Griffin & Friends, George Spencer & Friends, first timers Haunted By Heroes, a select group from Mission Valley Chorus, Shane Turner and The Salvation Army Band.

A longtime tradition, Celebrity Bell Ringing will be extra special this year. The special center-stage event will be Rock the Square with Beatles and Rolling Stones Tribute Bands! This lunch-hour concert open to all will feature Nigel and Clive and The British Invasion as well as The Unauthorized Rolling Stone for the second year in a row!

Come witness fun and entertaining philanthropy in action! Be sure to visit Macy’s, the Grand Hyatt and Maiden Laine from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and let’s rock Union Square from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.!
