Greetings Parents and Specialists,

You are invited to an excellent training course for helping children develop their learning, language, sensory processing, stamina, emotional calm and social happiness.

The Rhythmic Movement Training (RMT) course was developed by author and psychiatrist, Harald Blomberg, MD and kinesiologist, Moira Dempsey and is available in San Francisco, CA, Feb. 10-12, 2012 and in San Diego, Feb 24-26, 2012.

Neurodevelopmental Movements taught in Rhythmic Movement Training 1 & 2 are calming and effective for reflex integration, whole-brain learning, optimizing skills, reducing stress, eliminating blocks and opening the heart. Families especially benefit from the harmony and positive changes that grow from doing movement together.

This course teaches participants reflexes found to be active in children and adults resulting in tension and interfering with purposeful functioning. This course also teaches simple, nurturing movements found to have a calming effect.

Incomplete integration of childhood reflexes can be mild to severe, and contribute to: anxiety; depression; symptoms of ADD or ADHD; autism; learning disorders; developmental delay; sensory-processing disorders; vision and hearing problems; behavioral challenges;extreme shyness; lack of confidence; addiction; inefficient, effortful work and constantly feeling overwhelmed.

Integrating primitive reflexes relaxes the body and prepares the body to learn easily, manage our emotions and impulses, and meet life’s challenges with greater ease. Calming movement helps children and adults complete the reflexes and transform challenges into strengths.

The course taught by Sonia Story (with Leslie Goff, MS in San Francisco),is approved by the California Physical Therapy Association for 2.1 CEUs, (Course # 11-646).
