Description
Trumpeter Khalil Shaheed and Mo'Rockin Project return to Yoshis Oakland to celebrate the release of their new CD "Tajine". Tajine is a Moroccan cooking pot which tells the story of this band.The band is comprised of Cassablanca natives Yassir Chadly and Bouchaibe Abdelhadi, with Richard Howell on sax and vocals, Ron Belcher on bass, Deszon Claiborne on drums, Glen Pearson on piano,and Khalil on trumpet/flugel/vocals/and persussion. The music is again alluring, lyrical, creative, funky, spirited, spiritual, and of course humorous.
