Description

This talk is offered in conjunction with the Food Shift exhibition at Interface Gallery.

Food Shift is an interactive, interdiscilinary exhibition dedicated to exploring the social, environmental and human impacts of food waste and food systems from a variety of perspectives.

This exhibition is inspired by and designed to call attention to the work of Bay Area organization, Food Shift, which is working to build a more just and sustainable food system by looking at the relationship between food waste and hunger.

Works and interactive activities presented in this exhibition look critically at problems with our current food systems as well as present alternative ways of thinking about how to make use of food waste, while contributing to more just and sustainable practices.
