Resonance Jazz, a one of a kind jazz octet, appears at the Avonova House Concert for аn 8pm performance on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 8pm.Combining the intimacy of a “house concert” with this singularly unique acoustic jazz octet (the only one in the Bay Area) affords audiences an intriguing experiential evening during April’s Jazz Appreciation month.
Besides performances of original standards by Steve McQuarry, Bandleader and creative arrangements of jazz standards, pop and classical favorites, Avonova’s architecture was designed to enthrall and enhance the entertainment with unusual objets d’art. Marrying a unique space with unusual jazz orchestration that includes strings and vocals promises audiences a sensuous evening’s delight.
