Description

Researchers Anonymous: Flying through the Past: Panoramic Views of Santa Cruz: 1870 and 1906

Saturday, October 11, 2014; 11:00 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Carey Casey will take us on a journey of Santa Cruz in 1870 courtesy of the Charles Griffin lithograph.

Then flash forward to 1906 for Peter Nurkse’s interactive flight through George Lawrence’s aerial panorama of Santa Cruz, skimming over the roof tops and soaring over the mountains.

All are welcome to join this group of people interested in Santa Cruz County history to hear about and discuss panoramic views of Santa Cruz.
