Hang out with us on Sunday afternoon and get down to the unique indie-roots-neoclassical-international sound of Rupa & The April Fishes (http://www.theaprilfishes.com/)This year's Rendezvous for Rivers will celebrate the cultures and flavors of the communities where we work. By coming together for our partners in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, you can help us raise awareness and funds for the important work we do to stop destructive dams and promote sustainable solutions.
The evening will be a festive mix of global sounds and dances, local and international artwork, and delicious bites from around the world.
In addition to Rupa & The April Fishes, we'll get to enjoy the one-of-a-kind sound of Conspiracy of Beards (http://conspiracyofbeards.com/).
There will also be performances by Santa Cruz's Bravas pra Brasil, an Afro-Atlantic dance group, and 2012 Bay Area Carnaval Queen Ashlee.
Ticket are $35 for Activists or Students, $55 General Admission, $100 for VIP. All tickets include a membership to International Rivers.
