Director Tom Wyrsch will be at Camera 3 for a Q and A after a showing of his two documentaries, "Remembering Playland at the Beach" and "Sutro's: The Palace at Land's End.""Remembering Playland at the Beach," is a documentary about San Francisco's Playland amusement park, which was torn down in 1972 for condominium development.
"Sutro's: The Palace at Land's End," tells of the swimming, ice-skating and museum building built early in the 19th century and burned down in 1966. The documentary is a flashback to the building, now in ruins, and the stories of the historians and people who were there. It also shows what it looked like back in the day.
